About Danielle
Danielle Martens is a Postpartum Doula, currently in the process of being certified through Childbirth International. She has a BA in Family Services and a BA in Early Childhood Education, both through the University of Northern Iowa. She has a passion for working with young children and families and is excited to be invited into such a precious time with families of newborns.
Danielle is married to her husband, Seth, and they are expecting their first child in December. They are excited to embark on this new journey as parents after a struggle with infertility. Danielle has a passion for listening to women as they share their own fertility journey, pregnancy, labor story and feelings as a mom. She also loves to teach others about incorporating essential oils into their daily lives or special moments such as childbirth and postpartum.
In her own words: “I want to support women emotionally and physically after a beautiful experience such as childbirth. Surrounding a woman during this special time to lift them up and affirm their new feelings as a Mom, gives me joy. Whether it is sitting and listening, doing some light housework, or offering resources, I am honored to be invited into this time as Mom and baby bond.”
